What will I do?

  • Assisting with settling in/packing residents for moves internally or externally.
  • Performing clerical duties and acting as the Unit Receptionist.
  • Assisting the Charge and Staff Nurses in their day-to-day recording and charting of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records.
  • Ensuring that medical records are maintained in an informative and descriptive manner.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree/related coursework, preferred.
  • Must have experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous work experience in a health care facility, preferred.
  • Experience with EMR Program Vision, preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant certification, preferred.
  • A basic knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices is, preferred.
