What will I do?

  • Assist the Director of Life Enrichment in organizing, planning, and carrying out overall operation of the Life Enrichment department.
  • Assure an on-going program of activities designed to meet resident needs.
  • Post the current activity schedule for the month where it is accessible to residents and staff.
  • Dealing tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
  • Demonstrating sincere interest and concern for the well-being of the residents of the Health Care Center.

Job Requirements

Life Enrichment Coordinator Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Coursework in gerontology or leisure services, activities, art, music therapy or recreation preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite including Publisher and Excel.
  • At least 1 year experience working in a leisure time setting or with geriatric populations educational or medical preferred.
  • Must possess leadership ability and organizational skills.
